As part of the Unit's self-study and transition to a performance-based assessment plan, CEHS programs were analyzed through the development of matrices depicting critical transition points in the programs, current practices in the advising and monitoring of candidate performance, and the various unit assessments in place for the improvement of programs and unit operations. The matrices were developed during the winter and spring of 2001 through interviews with the Dean, Associate Dean, Department Chairs, members of the Teacher Education Council, the Directors and personnel in the Offices of Student Services and Professional Field Experiences, CEHS faculty and faculty in the arts and sciences, Program Advisors, and candidates.
